How can I become an RA?
RA positions are available through several avenues:
RA positions are available through several avenues:
- Enrollment in a Student Research Experience course (INCO 590 or 790) for up to 8 total credit hours is possible, with an allowance of 1-2 credit hours (3-6 hours of lab work per week) per semester. To enroll in a research experience course, you must meet the requirements outlined here.
- Some paid positions may be available, but these positions are (1) contingent upon administrative approval of funding and (2) awarded to students with extensive research experience or interest and/or an extended tenure within the MW Lab.
- Volunteers are also accepted under the condition that they will (1) dedicate at least 5 hours of their time to the lab each week and (2) commit to working at least a full semester in the lab.
Who can apply for an RA position?
- Any student at the University of New Hampshire can apply for an RA position in the Modern Work Lab
- Students with interests and educational backgrounds (e.g., management, economics, decision sciences, psychology, sociology, etc.) aligning with the research conducted within the lab are especially encouraged to apply.
